FLAG FOOTBALLWent out to cover some girls flag football. Arbor View vs Cheyenne in both the JV and Varsity and both were good games. The girls are much better than last year and I expect it to get better. One tough thing with the varsity game is they are under the lights. I have to be constantly checking to make sure the exposures are good. Still came home with some good shots.
SNYSA ALL STAR GAMEI covered the SNYSA All-Star games sponsored by Quinton Carter of the Denver Broncos. There were 4 great games......I never record the scores of the games but I know they were all fairly close and good games. One game ended on a long pass for a winning TD with just seconds left on the clock. As always it was great to meet new people on the sidelines and some others that I have met before from other teams over the years. This league has some real good ball players. Maybe one of these years the All-Star games will feature the best of some of the other leagues in town......that would be awesome. Anyway, enjoy a few pictures from the day.
SOCCER AND FLAG FOOTBALL DAYI went back to Ed Fountain to shoot a few more games today. The LV Cowboys had a team there playing to stay in shape before the tackle football season starts. There were some great games and weather was real nice as well. Enjoy some pictures.
NYS WINTER SPORTS OPENING DAYToday I covered some opening day sports for the NYS. Soccer and flag football were both going on at Ed Fountain Park. It was real nice outside with temperatures in the 60s or so. I shot two soccer games and three flag football games. This was the first time I have seen a team switch uniforms and become a different team. It was great to be out again....been awhile. Enjoy a few pictures of the games.
NJB OPENING DAY 2013/2014The NJB opened their winter season up today at the YMCA. I did manage to cover 6 games there.....one was just the last quarter. I always did like this league, its very well ran and all the kids get a chance to play an even amount of time. Enjoy a few shots.
